Your books are safe with us
You're trusting us with your business's financial heart. Here's exactly how we protect it — no vague promises.
Security practices
How we protect your data
Encryption in transit and at rest
Your data travels over HTTPS/TLS and lives in cloud systems (QuickBooks Online and our tooling) that encrypt data at rest. We never move client financial data over unencrypted channels.
Least-privilege access
Only the team members working on your account can access your books, each with their own named login — no shared passwords. Access is revoked immediately when an engagement ends.
Multi-factor authentication
MFA is enforced on every system that touches client data, including QuickBooks Online accountant access and our internal tools.
Backups & recovery
QuickBooks Online maintains continuous cloud backups. For work we produce (reports, schedules, reconciliations), we keep versioned copies so nothing is ever lost to a single failure.
Kenya Data Protection Act 2019
We operate as a data processor under the DPA 2019, honour data subject rights, and keep client records only as long as the law and our engagement require.
Vendor due diligence
We only use established providers — Intuit (QuickBooks), reputable payment processors, and cloud services with their own security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
